I think you will find that it is basically a scam, and that these folks had nothing to do with the few actual gull wing 928s that have been made. But I would love to hear that I am wrong and that a legitimate gull wing kit exists for the 928. So keep us updated please.

Sorry...another thought. So I have one of the 60 or so 928s that were converted to convertible. The cost of the conversion alone was probably something like $30K in the early 80s. And I think a convertible conversion is likely easier than a good gull wing conversion. So figure closer to $100k in today's dollars. I like my convertible but its market value today is perhaps $6k. Nothing about these cars is a good investment, but that is pretty poor performance.

I don't think you are wrong, especially when the Volvo on that site is the factory prototype "YCC" designed from the start to have gullwing doors.
