Default Floor mats

My 91 mats are as useless as a shirt. I like my Lloyd's in my other car, but am thinking rubber possibly.

What is the best carpeted brand (fit and quality) and where did you purchase them from?

Has anyone had luck with the rubber hex mats? Any photos?

Thanks Rob. I have thought of the Lloyd's as I have them in my other cars. I don't see on your site where you have the mats.

I was seeing if anyone had any luck with the rubber mats since this will be for my daily driver. Meaning rain, snow, dirt.....

You might try WeatherTech.com
They might have had one of their rubber mat lines that would work in a 928.

If you are going to go the route of rubber, consider cocomats. The hold water/mud/snow as good or better than rubber, and don't show near the dirt. To clean you just hose em off.

Used them in everything except my 928, still have factory mats though the lining on the back is long gone.

Here they are in my boxster...

No. they do not shed like sissel or rope. In the boxster the color of the mats got sun bleached a little and looked kinda brown. Emailed cocomats asking if there was something I could dye them black again with and they sent me another set of mats free.

I'm working on how to add them to my web site.
Adding the Lloyd's mat configurator is an expensive undertaking for the initial integration. There's also a monthly fee that takes a big bite.

I will probably just add some of the more popular styles colors.

Lloyd has an all weather mat called Rubbertite

I have something similar to the rubbertite mats in my GTS. Like the hex maxs, but the dimples are round. They protect the carpets and seem to hold up well with age. I'm not in love with the looks, but the other over mats I have had have not really held up very well.

I have the Lloyd carpet mats in the 928 S4 but I bought the rubbertite front mats in my '84 911 Carrera.
The fit is great but the plastic clip hardware is a bit flimsy. I wanted something that I wasn't afraid to wash after tracking dirt into the car. They were under $60. I suspect the fit quality would be the same for a 928

They look great.
Let us know how they fit. I'd be very interested in something like this.
