++ for Constantine's Torque Tube rebuild service w/Super Bearings & his Super Clamp.
Had a leaking Torque Converter seal so it was an easy decision to do the Torque Tube Bearings and install a Super Clamp at the same time.
Constantine made the whole process easy with quick turn-around and door-to-door service.

Replaced my TT with the "Constantine" upgrade kit as well almost 2 years ago with 109k on the speedo. I was getting some rattle from the TC area and replaced the loose rivets in the TC with bolts. Decided to go ahead and splurge on Con's TT and SC as well as new bearings. My old dampers fell apart during the removal process.
MAKE SURE you have the right diameter TT. Some 87 versions had the smaller 25 and some had the larger 28. What a difference...I just checked for flex plate movement....nada, zip, zero... The super clamp along with PK tensioner and better belts sure give you peace of mind.

Is there a maintenance schedule of any kind for the TT? Not much comes up on a search other than those that broke and what a pain they are to fix.
I am interested to know if there was a procedure that would add life to the unit if done regularly?
thx in advance.

Nothing really for the torque tube.
Main check should be done at the front flex plates to make sure there is no forward bowing of them which would indicate pressure is being exerted onto the engine's thrust bearing.
This same pressure is also being exerted unto the rest of the driveline to include the torque tube bearings and torque tube converter housing bearings which could hasten their demise.
