Default Air Pump

I've just installed an x-pipe that deletes the cats so I no longer need the air pump. I'm also just re-building the front end after doing the waterpump and timing belt. I figured that I would just leave the air pump in place and not put the air pump belt on just incase I return the exhaust to stock at a later point.

My question is, is it ok to run without that belt? I have a silly idea in my head that having two belts on each side (AC and Air pump vs PS and Alternator) perhaps balances out the tension on the crank pulley.

I'm also running an x-pipe without cats and I removed the pump and related hardware. No issues.

Cool. I thought that was the case but just wanted to be sure.
