jcb928 thanks for the post. For clarification, the link provided shows a price of $62.95 for 12 cans with free shipping. This link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listi...&condition=new. will get you to the page offering the cheaper price. Note that shipping will be in 1 -2 months.

I don't know Randy but I would just buy a 30lb keg of R134 and be able to fill up a cars A/C system without the risk of getting air inside from switching cans.
It also allows you to hook the R134 right up to the manifold and it is less of a hassle inside of California to have 30lbs in a keg rather than 9 in cans.

The 928 would use 3 cans with rear air or just over 2 cans with no rear air,
"Without rear A/C: 860g
With rear A/C: 1030g"
I don't have the space or the need for a 30lb (plus you would need a scale)

I have a scale for A/C work but now my mother uses it for weighing packages for shipping ![hiha](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/roflmao.gif)
Plus you never know when they will phase out R134 like they did R12.....

If you are just adding refrigerant to a leaking system (as opposed to refilling from empty), the amount added is a very inexact guess based upon temps and pressures anyway.
