Paint Shop Pickup Checklist

Paint Shop Pickup Checklist
I hope to pick my car up from the body shop within a couple of weeks. I am getting the entire car repainted (same color – dove blue) aside from engine bay, door jams, and rear hatch jams. I have also provided a variety of exterior parts (seals/gaskets) for replacement (thanks Roger!). The car has not been painted yet, though disassembly, sanding, and primer are complete.
I am sure when the time comes for pickup, I will be an excited mess. As such, I created a pickup checklist to assure I’ve suitably checked things over.
Can any of you help with brainstorming on other 928-critical areas to focus on? See below – most of this has already been discussed with the shop.
Paint:
Overall
headlight pods
headlight fender "cutouts" – no orange peel
blending of door areas
blending of engine bay
blending of hatch area
formerly bubbling door sill area
Body:
rear wiper "delete" hole weld/fill
lower side moldings
sunroof adjustment/flushness
sunroof gaskets (new)
front bumper beading (new)
read bumper beading (new)
drivers door seal (new)
mirror seal left (new)
mirror seal right (new)
928S4 Decal (new)
headlight and winshield washer nozzles (cleaned/dewaxed)
front spoiler attachment
rear spoiler attachment
lower outer window seals (l/r) (new)
Electrical: - check all related electrical to assure proper function
Detailing: - make sure overall detailing complete.

Tell them NOT to use their big battery charger...... the surge on the START mode is really hard on the brains...and the battery will go dead at the body shop
Also have them call you when they get done shooting it in the booth so you can see how it looks BEFORE all the sanding and polishing. Get it out in the sunlight to check for coverage and depth of the paint. Better to have them fix any issues sooner than later.

Looks like a good list, but I am not sure I would trust anybody to put that sun roof back on correctly, after the car is painted. I've done sun roof rubber strip replacement and installs, and they are tricky. If not lined up correctly, the paint on the sun roof will get scratched. Make sure the shop installs it right, and check it before you sign off, in case they need to respray it.

You may have covered this with "blending of door areas...engine bay...hatch area", but make sure the tape lines and/or overspary in those areas have been smoothed via wet-sanding and compounding.
Pet peeve of mine - when I had a quarter panel on my old Jetta repaired, there was a tape line inside the door jamb that could be seen and felt with a fingernail - easily disappeared with some wet-sanding and polish.
