S3 Intake Tube Repair

Curious as to how this has held up over the last 2 years.
Since these air intake tubes are NLA, I need to do something to mine to make them more presentable. Especially with new Powder Coated parts right next to them.

It's held up okay. Main negative is the shrinking of the heat shrink also contracts the accordion part of the actual tube, effectively making it shorter. Mine had already been trimmed a little bit, so I ended up shoe-horning some silicone tubing on the back end. Will post a pic to clarify when I can take one.

Wow! You snooze you loose with the rare parts on this site.
That's a fantastic price.
What's the latest on anyone perhaps trying to make these NLA parts?
Hasn't Jerry Feathers given up on these?

Sorry Scott - not inclined to try to figure out what it takes to ship to Oz. I will ship domestic US. International is a pia - time to price all the options out plus expensive no matter what anyway. No offense, but not looking to spend effort, just move them along in the easiest way.

In what I consider a criminal act, I happen to know that a buddy of mine is sitting on a set of NOS S3 TUBES..........
He's squirreled them away, perhaps waiting for them to be worth more then his car?

It was like looking into the Ark of the Covenant, my face began to melt off. Then he closed them up again.
On 9-28 of every year, we get them out and have parade like a holy relic.
