Default Last North American 928 GTS production month?

Hi,
I'm curious. As per the door jam VIN sticker production month and year, when were the final North American 1995 928 GTSs produced? The last NA 968s were built in October of 1994.
Thanks

I can tell you tomorrow when 136 was made. 137 was the Pearlglanz green/purple interior one. It's in storage at the moment.
November comes to mind.

Looking very much forward to reading your findings!

The last RoW, WPOZZZ92ZSS800459, was build on 20th July 1995 according to this article: http://www.curves-magazin.com/Blog/Wolkenatlas

136 is the last U.S. 5-speed GTS, 137 is the last U.S. GTS, but tragically it's an auto.

EDIT:
The Perlglanz car is WP0AA2924SS820137, I'd previously thought it was a German market car but I was , er, confused.

137 was the crème dela crème of all 928's and in fitting with the whole design concept of the 928 was a "RogerBox" the way it was meant to be !!!!!!
You "Merchant Banker" 5 speed guys just dream of the perfection you missed out on.

Because they want to believe that Porsche would make a point of making the last production unit of the car we all love off the assembly line "special"? Presumably in the process vindicating our belief that this is one of the best cars Porsche ever made, and in the vain hope that Porsche love all their front engined children as much as the rear-engined ones?

Or maybe old information is just stubborn and refuses to die despite there being concrete evidence and data to the contrary?

Interesting and I'll look forward to what you find.

The latest produced 968 that I have actually seen is SS820315 and that reads 10/94. The last North American 968 coupe is SS820319 and it went to Canada. Every single 1995 North American 968 cabriolet produced was originally born a 1994 (final cabs built in June of 1994) and was reVINed as a 1995 using option code 718.

I just saw 0131 in person (last black 5-speed)... unfortunately I didn't bother to get the build date... I believe it was actually built in '95, though... not '94.

I found out that it was built 3/95. My birthday month. I just bought it 4 years later, May of 99.

Pcarfan928, I had no clue when I bought it.... sight unseen. The PO didn't even tell me about the wood. And did you notice that, that post was your 9280's? or have you found away to lock your post number to that.

I attached a picture of the door plate.

Thank you very much for for your follow up, as this is a very nice data point to have. So there are four months between your WPOAA2922SS820136 and the very last ever build 928, being RoW WPOZZZ92ZSS800459 (as build and finalized on 20th July 1995).

Another data point ... mine is WPOZZZ92ZSS800358 with a build date of May 1995, which is 298th after US 137 and 101 after that to the last one in July. Australian compliance/VIN plate affixed August 95 (arrived in Oz 2+ months after built).

Production was slowing down.
