Yeah it would be neat to see all the cars. I'll check out that wrecked one on my way home tomorrow and let you know. Also, I have a box of speedos, and a ton of misc other parts.. Do listen to the others and change all rubber lines immediately. I did on mine when I purchased. A except the 1" ones going from fuel rail to injector. Guess what burst on me while I was driving home. I am to this day in awe of how my car is still here... In this heat, all rubber is a must. As well as all cooling system items need to be checked. I would flush out any fluid in the car and replace. Coolant, brake/clutch fluid, ATF fluid, ATF in Power steering, oil. Everything! I could go on all day!

I was going to buy myself some ramps.. I will probably still do this for oil, etc.

I might take you up on that. I have to remove the bolt to get my fuel pump cover off to tighten up and stop leaking (this is a seasonal job for me) crush washers. I can't reach them on my back, and need a lift for this job.

You should be able to reach the two nuts for the fuel pump cover with the car on the ground. ten mm as I recall

When I was in there it seemed to only be one bolt and it was way up top. Much higher than I could reach or see...
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can only see up there with a mirror tool.

Welcome Hayden. Congratulations on a great looking 928. I hope you will be able to join up with some of the other 928 guys in Las Vegas and maybe form a caravan of all of you and them coming here to Grand Junction for the second annual 928 Function at the Junction for July 3 to 6 this summer.
If you are interested, my friend Doug Corson might be able to help you with the work-over on your seats. One idea might be to have him work up a spare set of OB seats and swap them out when you come up. Another thought is that you might consider working up a set of later seats and swap them out when you come. Let me know and I'll put you in touch with him.

Thank you for all the welcoming...This forum is such a huge help for anyone looking to buy or anyone who owns a 928. Already got my power seats working from what I learned in one of the threads...now to figure out why fuse 24 is blowing.....

Hayden,
Happy to hear your new to you Porsche made it home w/o any fuss!
It is a beautiful car especially considering what you spent, as mentioned already you really lucked out finding an example without the rub strips, (i had to go through hell to get rid of mine!) and the paint and dash look great. Those are big pluses.
Very nice looking.
for fuse # 24 and the rest, a Guy named Alan put this together for us all:
