Had a question.. After digging around the pinched wires the car won't start. Just wondering in anything in the immediate area by that bumper shock pertains to the ignition. It smells like I am getting fuel. The green wire is in tact but the connector is badly corroded. Can I cut the connector off and splice the wire connection? Any other things that I should check? The car has been starting instantly everytime before today.

You may have been looking at one of the four larger bolts which hold the gas tank straps to the body.....your fuel pump is behind the smallish metal rear cover at the bottom rear of the tank. That cover has two small nuts at the top behind the rear cover but easily reachable. Undo both and it will drop down and you see your pump and fuel filter..

You may try swapping out starter. Also, make sure timing didn't skip a tooth. Do you have power to injectors? Power to the starter? Green wire could have a short as well. Clean all your grounds and very carefully open 14 pin and clean. Check fuses to make sure none are burned out. Make sure to write down everything you are doing as you go along, makes it easier to re-trace steps. I have a bunch of misc. parts in my garage. Let me know what you think you may need and I will look for you.

found this thread....removed the connector and touched terminal 14 to the charging post and it turned over. Reconnected theb14 pin connector and tried starting and it fired right up. What a relief.

Progress
I was able to get the pushed in bumper situation resolved as well as get all the exterior lighting working with the exception of the fog lights. I had to remove the 4 way connector from both sides from behind the bumper and resplice all the wires together. There was an internal short in the connector on both sides.
New plug wires installed (old ones were arcing against the fuel rail...probably not a good thing)
Replaces the vacuum lines I broke removing the plug wires as well as a couple that the intake manifolds previous resident had chewed through.
Happy with the progress so far....Need to look into the fuel line replacement in the near future as well as getting ready to order a new front spoiler and brake duct grill....I know the TB and WP will need attention but knowing myself I will be more motivated to get that done once I take care of the last major exterior cosmetic issue.
Also wanted to thank everyone for all the help and feedback...couldn't imagine trying to figure things out without this forum.
