http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-MAKE...2b2af9&vxp=mtr

$120 for a used part when the new part is readily available for $37.

Maybe it's like antique furniture, and the patina adds to its value.

If you look at the pics, the second one says that the prices in the "Make Offer" ads (which this is one) are 'placeholders' and to make an offer.

Unfortunately most people assume that if its on Ebay it must be cheaper, and yes i go to Roger for everything We have a breakers over here called Douglas valley they list a lot of stuff...most very expensive IMHO. If their prices are correct, most UK 928's are worth more broken than in one piece.

They may be expensive - but I have dealt with Douglas Valley from the USA for ROW/Euro items I just could not find used here and they were easy to work with, happy to ship internationally (quick) and found me exactly what I wanted much cheaper than new even with international shipping.

I've also dealt with a breaker in New Zealand who also provided excellent service - hard to believe the NZ market was big enough for there to be a breaker who would know anything about 928s.

928 Rule number 1... if you need something 928 call Roger
928 Rule number 2... if you want to sell something 928 over market price, don't post here
928 Rule number 3... don't forget about rule number 1

That's crazy.
I have 3 of those. Be glad to sell them for $10 a piece. No free shipping though.
