Quick Jack by Ranger Products
I came across this racing product. $995 w/ free shipment. A 5000 lb version is coming this year for similar price. Nice product. I think this could be used for our 928s. I want one for my garage.

I do n ot trust that set up. I like my car lifts way over engineered!

Looks like a very easy way to get the car up in the air. I agree, would be nice to be able to fit a couple of jack stands under to provide back up support or settle the car on. Two feet is a lot of nice space to work underneath.

Very interesting. Few years ago a guy was selling something similar, double the price as I recall and powered by I think a drill motor or cordless impact.
This one is more a VERY stripped down lower capacity midrise lift. My midrise 54" lift weighs about 1000 lbs and rated at 6k lbs.
Trackside I think liftbars and a good jack is good choice.

Looks like what other companies call a 'motorcycle' lift... only two of them. I sent an inquiry stating so.
Let's see what the response will be...
And yes, I would use jack stands as a secondary layer of safety!

Guys, save your pennies, and get a Workhorse portable lift. Money well spent! Quit laying on your back!

I would not be going under that without some secondary support.
If it's for home, better to spring for a max jax or a 4 post lift. When something is engineered to be that portable, it's made lighter and more compact, not qualities you want in a servicing lift.

I don't have the height or squares to designate a space 4 just lifting..someday.
I like that it is portable and i could put it out of the way.
It does look flimsy i agree.
I guess i'm too trusting that this company has got to know if someone gets crushed, they're done, lights out. No waver to sign before a purchase.
I will use jack stands though. I want to wait and see the 5k lb unit first.

It looks like you are also saving space.
I love my set of Porken's liftbars, and I literally trust them with my life. My issue is not with the bars, but with the space in my garage. It makes it very difficult to jack up one side because one side of the car is always right next to the wall.
This looks like it would solve that problem, and store away neatly.
