I could then try to get information from my usual source. Any 1989 GT is an interesting and rare 928.

Do you have a picture if the steering wheel? I know at least one 1990 which was delivered with this kind of steering wheel:

I think that steering wheel is a relatively recent addition, it's a post-2018 Porsche Tequipment 930S wheel with the embossed logo at lower left.

Hmm, interesting. The car is for sale from a Porsche dealer in Germany that also sold this very car new to the same owner. It’s a one owner car. They are selling it on consignment for him. Ironically, the dealer said the steering wheel was the only thing he wasn’t sure was original or not. That’s funny you mentioned that. But are you 100% sure that couldn’t be original to this car back in 1989. You don’t think they made newer versions in 2018? It does match the interior perfectly.

Not 100% sure, and I'm no expert on these 930S wheels but there are a bunch of threads on Pelican pre-2005 that discuss the original 930S wheels, I don't see any pics of an embossed PORSCHE logo on the rim of any of them. So I'm 99% sure. The comment about 2018 came from a post that DR made in 2018, see post # 22 here: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...bag-928-a.html

Link to a particularly good link about the original 1987 M505 steering wheels: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...ml#post4934998

I don't think that this is the original steering wheel but would say that it was provided by Porsche Exclusive around 1992. To my knowledege, this kind of steering wheel with the Porsche embossed script were introduced with the 964 Turbo S Leichtbau.
The side mirrors are not original too.

This is a great looking 1989 928 GT in regular black with a full leather grey green interior. The Porsche dealer can decipher the two Exclusive codes with the PET. I think that one of them concerns the leather covered dashpod. The other may be the carphone.

If it's a one owner car, they maybe have the original order form, or bill.

Great opportunity to buy a very special 928. I like it a lot.

The car was collected directly at the factory.

The last thing I had asked him was whether they had the original window sticker. Do they have those on Euro cars?

There wasn't such a thing as a window sticker for a European car back then, and there still isn't.
But they maybe have the original invoice into the car's papers.

Would the original invoice list all of the factory options such as full leather, etc.? Since they are not listed on the option code sticker.

Here is the actual advert with much higher resolution photos: https://finder.porsche.com/de/de-DE/...braucht-KW750M I came across this car as well but thought it was very heavily priced compared to a lighter spec '91 GT also with 74K km on it that just sold for €49K. Maybe this black GT justifies another €40K spend, but somehow I doubt it and the seller is just hopeful. It is the most expensive for sale, just in front of another EU sold '89 GT in red over black done 60K km. For that money you could get into a manual GTS done the similar kms.

To each his own, I would prefer a 1989 GT to a GTS, even manual.

Thank for the link, by the way

The rear spoiler should not be painted.
The rear muffler is not original.
The rear script is incomplete and the position of the GT is wrong.

Yeah, there’s a few things that he’s added on I can tell. But the seller has all of the original components and they said they would return all of those back to the car before it was shipped. Which is nice.
