I thought 83 got the 4 speed trans. Is the Canadian car not the same as the us? If not what is the difference?

R&P = ring and pinion ratio. For an A28.01, the ratio is 2.2:1.

I just recently got this car. Other than the title it came with 0 paperwork. Any ideas on how to find out how many previous owners or other intestine and or useful info about its past.
