The other VIN is from a friend of mine.
He bought the car from a dealer in the Netherlands, and got some problems to registry the car,
He was told ,the VIN was not correct ( not identefied) Is this correct?

RE: The I405 option, there are 273 US model '83s with this option. They're all early production of the year (highest VIN is #1237 out of 2145), they're all 5-speeds, they all have symbols for the US market.
264 have sunroofs
210 have passenger comfort seats
168 have wheel locks
152 have an alarm
149 have rubstrips
142 have a Monterey radio
130 have a rear package box
107 have the additional amp
98 have green tint
68 have 'abrasive' brake pads
68 are California market
12 have LSD
9 have deletion of the spoilers
8 have sport seats

So other than the fact that LSDs are pretty rare in '83 5-speeds, I haven't learned much about what I405 is.

This is certainly the main lights level adjustment system. This is a part of the equipment of the RoW cars. The **** is next to the handbrake lever.

Default Suspension - Help identifying from options

Hi Guys, not sure if this is the right place to post a request but I am trying to sort through front suspension rework and wondered if options codes could assist how me car left the factory at least. It's a 1985 Euro S2 - WP0ZZZ92ZGS840480

Getting a bit lost as to differences in lower arms, balljoints, clips and shock absorbers. Don't think it has a sport pack (adjustable shocks?) but has the 4 pot callipers. Maybe a mongrel...

Many thanks

D
