Local GTA place sell rebuilds for 180. Personally I buy mine from a Roger, I don't want to end up with a laso knock off like the batch Roger returned last year.
I pick up stuff in the states often so if you need me to pick anything up let me know.

Screw Laso. I run one of Ed's, Guardian water pumps.

With 66 sold though, it goes to show how relatively few 928 owners are on Rennlist. Referring to that link Matchmaker posted. I saw another one of those listings where it said 115 sold.

That's not a Geba (which seems to be a good pump and is carried by 928INTL). It is Hamburg Technic and those are crap. I've been researching a ton of water pump threads on the forum dating back ten years in an effort to see if there are any affordable and reliable solutions the 928 water pump prices which have gotten a little crazy over the past 5 years.
Greg Brown did a disection of a Hamburg Technic pump for Roger several years ago when the Laso prices started going up significantly. Hamburg Technic was crappy bearing quality and crappy materials and has a metal impeller as comapred to the Porsche pump, the Laso pump, and the rebuilds Mark was selling at the time - all which were of similar high quality.
However, as a tangent one thing I am researching are the rebuilt pumps sold through Zim's which the guys over on the 944/968 forum swear by as very high quality, very affordable rebuilds.
I know the concensus is against rebuilds at this point and I'll probably just get a new pump through Roger or 928INTL when the time comes. However, that could prove a viable option.
