New Product: 928 clutch short shafts
Never mind.
I just realized that there is absolutely no reason for me to participate here.
There is zero upside.
The people that know what I do and what I offer to the 928 world can contact me.

Wow that's a beautiful site - nice work!!!
Years back when I was dying with a clutch issue, one attempt to fix was a new shaft. The old one turned out to be fine and sat on my workbench, up on the corner ever since.
I've misplaced it..... feeling really stupid now knowing how rare good ones are.

^^ Well I'll be danged!! ... that explains a lot. That's where they get pushed to when rear pinch bolts stretch and loosen, and the stub shaft gets rammed into the pilot bearing by the main shaft.
Maybe because it gets rammed into the pilot, its ability to spin at a different speed to the flywheel is reduced, which adds to the clutch issue ... ???
Another question .... Will using a harder shaft set, with less ability to absorb torque, expose any weakness in gearbox/diff/axle shafts?
