Default Looking for the Elusive 85-86 Air Box Top

Hi--

Unfortunately Mark didn't have one in stock last time I checked. If anyone has a damage-free one they would be willing to part with, drop me a PM with the price. I'm lucky enough to have 2 good intake tubes for the S3. I'm good on straps also.

Thanks

Sorry Roger--I just assumed that since the air tubes were NLA, the box fell in the same category-- Thanks!

Is the air filter box top the same for the US and Euro 85/86?

No they are different 16v to 32v 85/86 - different inlet diameters.

You might want to look at the intake tubes that Roger found on ebay:

New Years half-off sale? Oh, wait....

Just kidding.

Are there literally plenty? Seems the inventory based pricing kicks in @ Porsche

IIRC about 40 sitting in Germany - not something that owners purchase very often.
