Default Nanotech paint coatings

Ever wanted a no hassle, scratch and almost ******** proof paint scheme? My baby has been treated with nanotech and I must say its brilliant, no washing required, a quick squirt with a hose when she's dirty and a chamois and she shines like a diamond, it's very very scratch resistant, and the gloss is amazing.
My baby has original 25 year old paint, but with this coating on, it looks brand new with a deep shine, anyone else tried it?

Here's the Aussie supplier ( no affiliation just passing on info) http://www.carcarecoatings.com.au/ bit I'm sure it's worldwide
As proof, here's my bby with 25 yo paint, after a hose off and a chamois.

Looks good. A few years ago I did my 944 in Rejex which seems like a similar idea at least. After a couple of years in the sun the coating went milky, and I've had a hell of a time trying to get it off. Polishing compound does not touch it. I've had to resort to fine sandpaper. Hope this works out better.

Karl: Startling report on long term effects of Rejex. I'm very surprised any of these rub on coatings are that durable. I applied Rejex to my car several times but not in the last 3-4 years. There is no obvious residue left, but I suppose with a white car that might not be so obvious. The paint shines nicely. Are you sure you're not seeing clear coat deterioration? With any late car paint surface distress I have favored 3M's Finesse-It II, a very mild finishing compound, and an orbital buffer. It should work well on the mid-90s waterbased 2-stage paint like you have to remove the Rejex if still there and restore the clearcoat finish after the sanding you did. It's not strong enough to do anything with the harder paint put on the 80s 928s like mine.

Mines is guaranteed for life if applied by a professional, not sure of warranty if DIY, a good example of how good this stuff is, I noticed cat prints on the bonnet on the way to the shops, got home and prints have gone with the wind, it really is that good, the PO paid nearly 2k (Australian) to have it done, and I get to reap the rewards

There are similar products available with "nanotech" coatings from chemicalguys.com (no affiliation) and also special kits for peeps like me with (3) black automobiles.

Thanks for the input Bill. It's a '91 in Guards Red. I don't think there is a clear and it does not look like there is. I should probably take photos and post under a new topic.

Karl: If polishing cloth or sand paper turns red, then you're right - no clear. Also, 91 might still be solvent based paint (not sure when that change happened), in which case the paint may not respond much to Finesse-It II.

I would like to see more about the "nano" products in the US. There are all kinds of glazes and whatnot and I've never been all that impressed. The paint on the 80s 928s, at least the single stage solid colors, like my GP White, is so amazingly durable that I've not found putting anything over a finish polish adds much. "Permagloss" seems to be Australia only, although they will ship overseas.
