Well, oorah or hooah or cheers or Semper Fi or whatever it is you guys say! I worked with Aussies while I was doing WMD search in Iraq; good guys, except for the occasional ******* (just like everybody else).
Had the Virginia version of the plate on my '88. Still have the plate, it may go onto the '89 in time.
GOD I MISS MY '88
Michael
Very cool! I've thought about transferring the plate to my '83 928, as the SL never gets any use. Just found another personalized plate I'm going to order for the 928, though.
Some real great ones here. But two I don't quite understand:
- AUCHTUNG says "also tung" - was that supposed to be "ACHTUNG" (Warning/Attention)?
- NEIN28 says "No 2 8" - was that supposed to be "NEUN28"?
But if California were to allow 8 characters on the license plate (like Ontario), I would have a custom plate for my daily driver: "LCTRC CHR"
Hi Nicole,
Yes, my first choice was ACHTUNG = warning/attention however, it was not available. I went with the closest phonetic pronunciation. Mine just has a silent "U"
Thanks for the actual translation, no disrespect intended.
