Here's my 85's & our '91(until it went to the car collector earlier this year). I still have the tag hanging in my office though! Also included the tag from my Speed Yellow 968 cab(only ten brought in to the US in that color).

I liked this one for my red '84...sort of describes the love hate relationship the car breeds from time to time. Sadly, Texas says no to my using this one today...and my wife might well refuse to driver the car with this plate?

'Dropshort' is a Commonwealth term; I've never heard it used by American artillerymen.

Not nearly as cool as the other posts but I was pretty pleased to be randomly assigned this plate for my new 928!

Here are mine while I lived in Texas...

...and in Germany... FFB is the town and the rest can be chosen for a little fee. But we can't be as innovative.

BTW Nicole is right, you would never call it a nine two eight in Germany.

Either nine twenty eight (neun achtundzwanzig) or simply twenty eight (but in this case we use a form that does not exist in the English language "achtundzwanziger")

Nine hundred twenty eight is also common "Neunhundertachtundzwanzig"

Well, oorah or hooah or cheers or Semper Fi or whatever it is you guys say! I worked with Aussies while I was doing WMD search in Iraq; good guys, except for the occasional ******* (just like everybody else).

You should start calling it a 'shark' and see if you can start a trend!
