All of my plates are a reflection of my initials, JEJ III.

928 has "JEJ 111" and Cayenne has "JEJ III"

This was on my previous 90GT back in 1998. The PO let me keep the plate - it came off the car when I titled it here in Oklahoma. The Texas plate still resides on the shelf in my garage.

So I tried 84 928S first of course...taken
Then 84 928...taken
928S...taken

etc etc etc

I even tried NINE28 taken...by someone in Spring Texas...you know who you are!

so I'm wondering, and thought I'd use this thread to investigate...where are all the 928 plates, especially here in Texas.

I know I tried 20 different "renn-ditions" on three different plate styles...all taken.

so who's got 'em? ...ya bat rastards! (Just kiddin' of course)

They're out there, I know cause I can't have 'em!

So...who's got all the Texas (or any) 928 vanity plate(s)

Oh, I did eventually get a plate assigned, and should have it in a few weeks.

I just hope everyone knows what it says...it's pretty cryptic!

Mine is "NADO3." I would have preferred simply "NADO" but since it wasn't available, I decided to skip the sequel

I have Porsche owners that can't figure out mine on my 928 "P.TINS". It's an acronym for Porsche's slogan for like 40 years now.

So I'm envisioning Germany's finest...the White Beauty, "bopping" down the lane with the hi-fi radio blasting..."My Toot Toot" (the original version). (Patman shivers like a Chihuahua in a freezer).

And...well Brad, I'm seein' a whole new side of you...
and frankly it's quite scary!

I find myself wanting to make a snide homage to the "real" Porsche:

116-928 (read 116 upside-down)
911-SUBST (ironic application of "there is no substitute" to the 911)

Haven't pulled the trigger, though - not much audience in my area.

Default Plates I still own

My 3 now all have NC plates with the same 9TWO8 format.

I'd say so. Almost a fetish. jk

Nice stable! Your going to have to add the 928 to your signature composite pic!
