from what i under stand
non curved are louder and move "a little more" air
Curved are quite , but not as much air......
the 11" are for sure thicker....... less room......
not sure what ones i want!

Jake is correct. My original design was for the twin low-profile 12" fan shrouds. I sent the drawings out to a couple shops, and got bids back and selected two of the shops to build samples for me (one of which is a Rennlister, and who will be getting the job). The second shop is the one building the radiator for me. They stock thicker metal, and their brake tooling was not capable of doing some of the bends my original drawing specified. So they built a dual 11" high-flow to show me after going through a couple failed attempts on my original design.
So, I will be able to offer either design if people want one or the other. The dual 11 will be something that I wont have to stock, that shop will build them on demand. I need to order the dual 12 in quantity, so that unit will be the standard offering.
More options is always a nice thing, as is supplier redundancy.

Happy February. Not-quite-spring bump.
Summit has a (seemingly) slick progressive fan controller to help balance flow/noise...sucker isn't cheap though.

DC Controls also has a very nice fan controller if you want to eliminate the factory system.
Also, there is a series of controllers available through eBay called Auto Cool:

Seems like a good value.

Alpha proto type installed. this thing works like on BAMF. the 12's really move some air. i am running the DC Controls control unit. I'm running one of carls radiators. i did have to trim the bottom edge "lip" down where the tabs go in on the radiator. the radiator lip is about 1/8 inch taller than on the stock units. other than that, BAM.

If you drill out the ends of those filters, and put grommet between them, you can double the filter surface. Of course you will have to cap off the other end at the radiator fresh air outlet

i switch the "horns" or snouts around to get a better angle on that hose to the throttle body. they can be swapped either way. the other one is not doing anything at the moment. but i will cap it when i do more driving just to keep any unwanted junk from getting to the inside of the filter.
