Default Jumping into the Shark Tank - 928S Purchase

Hi Everyone,

I'm a recent 928 owner. As of about 48 hours ago. I'm the guy that purchased jhrob007's car out of Columbus Ohio.

So here's the deal. My day job involves a lot of technical writing. But I really like writing about cars. Unfortunately, I have yet to be contacted by Road and Track. So until then, I post my musings to my blog www.newhillgarage.com

There's already a ton of stuff there about Jag Etypes and my 944 track car. But now that I'm a 928 owner, I've started some posts about this fine car. So go to the website and check out the story of my recent purchase. I promise you, it's a good yarn! No commercials. No spam.

welcome to the tank Harvey.Even tho we know Joel's excellent car, pics are still a must.
As to the writing, we have a most enthusiastic member who is starting a water-cooled Porsche magazine and is looking for content. Here is the thread link - https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...-fluessig.html
You should join in with this too.

Welcome Harvey. I too have a 63 etype I have been restoring since 1994! But last two years have been spent with the 928.

Ha! That is too funny. I'm not sure that I know any other Harveys (first name) regardless of what kind of car they own.

Nice writing Harvey and the car looks great, what it was made for road trips!!
You may find passengers falling asleep while cruising along the freeway with the windows up,
its quiet and smooth and comfortable

Funny part is all 3 Harvey's are in the Charlotte NC area. That is too weird.

Wow! Nice car. I had seen it, but it was a bit out of reach for me, literally.
They look great in white.
Great writing also! For sure: join Pablo in his initiative to get he Flüssig magazine out. I am writing part of it also and others enthousiastically signed up as well. It will be good to see it in print! See thread link in post above.

Harvey,

Now join the 928 Owners Club and put some of your writing skills to use for the NEW 928 JOURNAL. It is the online articles section of the 928 Owners Club forum (kind of like this forum but only 928's and there is a members only section with a Road side assistance program and a tool loaner program... pretty good stuff for a $28/year price of admission!)

www.928oc.org

Love to read some of your stories.

Welcome to 928 ownership!

Peter Egan is retiring from R&T, you couldn't have picked a better time to buy a 928 and write about it.

Welcome to the shark tank!

Congrats Harvey on buying a great car and even better, meeting an awesome guy in Joel. A "Straight Shooter" for sure.

I enjoyed reading your blogs. Keep them up!
