Don't know it or the owner. It is on Craigslist locally also. I think he is a little ambitious on the pricing.

If you decide you are interested I will be happy to take a look at it for you.

This car was at my friend's shop [Touring Car] a couple years ago, for a transmission rebuild- color was Metallic black, interior aside from seats, had dash re-covered with a suede type material, also aftermarket fog lights speakers ect.- looked good from 10 feet away, my opinion a driver.

Hmm...
The seats aren’t right, it’s not an automatic, and it’s black. The seats are easy to replace, I can live with a 5-speed. If it was blue or green, I’d be on it like a jimmy hat, but I’m indifferent to black. I might be able to ‘sex up’ the black with the addition of some sort of stripe. On the plus side, it looks like it’s in good shape and it’s a year (79) and body style (no rub strips) I like. It has AC, even if it’s not working.
I'm going to run it by Household-6 and she what she thinks. Thanks for the offer to give it a once over, Harvey. I may yet take you up on it!

Okay, this car isn't blowing our collective skirts up:
So, probably taking a pass on this one. No rush, I have until next year's Frenzy!
I prefer green or blue as well. Or red. I would also prefer automatic, just because it’s easier for the kind of driving we usually do (in town, and/or in traffic). This is okay, but doesn’t really scream ‘buy me.’

Check this out: He wants cash on pick up. Not a bank check, cash.
Am I unreasonable to not want to fly into a distant city and approach an unknown party with several thousands of dollars of cash in my pocket?
