Question O-ring lube

Whats the best lubricant to use for O-rings on components such as the waterbridge to block or the big o-ring that seals the MAF to the intake.... I don't want to use anything that will affect the rubber.....
As usual.... Thanks for all your help

Bill

Silicone vapors can kill O2 sensors, use it very sparingly on anything intake related.

I use 111 on the intake O-rings too, never killed an O2 sensor.

Just an FYI.

If the Oring only needs to be lubed to aid assembly you could use KY - The coolant will wash it away eventually.

Also works great for reinstalling Bearing carriers in torque tubes. Doesn't affect the rubber and gets sticky as it dries out helping the carriers to remain where you put them.

+1 on the KY for lubricating where residue would be an issue. It is hydrophilic and breaks down completely after its job is done.
