Shiny, Wyattsride. Shiny

If he could mirror polish the tires, I bet he would.

Wayne G. powers up for the fun ride.
(If I could clone myself, I could then both video the line of cars rumbling in their start grid, and be at the entrance of the industrial complex to do some motion panning of the 928's as they scream by.)

A big thank you to all the sponsors that help make this event possible, behind the scenes minions who put the event together, and the ground staff on Frenzy Day (9/28) making this such a well-oiled operation. Whilst we were discussing the fine points of the LSD equipped transmission and which way the arrow points on the damned Mahle air filters and nomming on bagels and donuts, Greg Nichols and Mrs. Bertrand, along with other Frenzy committee members were making sure everything was set up for the day's events.
(And next time when asked to slide a full cooler over there, do NOT lift the darned thing and carry it over. I hope Mrs. Bertrand's lower back isn't sore from that lift)

Thank you for making this fantastic day possible, Frenzy Committee.

ps. I got to put my ill driving 928 on laser alignment yesterday, (yes, I said Sharks with frigging lasers), the front wheels were NOT pointing in their correct locations. The passenger side front wheel was Toed-In, by about a full turn of the tie-rod adjuster. (I've never run into a toe-in situation before on my car). So combine that with the car's unsettled front end from the power steering hose replacement job, the 928 must have been pretty badly toed-in when I did my drive down to Frenzy. It was not fun man-handling the car in highway traffic.

Glad you got that worked out. Should be easier going now. Sean was right about the passenger side being out.

Lots of outstanding pictures again!

Glen's wide butt.
(note to self. When opportunity like this arises, all I had to do is to say:"Hey, Glen" and he would have looked over towards me and I would have gotten his car and owner in the same shot.)

I believe this is El Greco's fine ride. 88 S4 powah.
(for those that complain about people removing plate numbers, there's way too much 'big data' out there that unless it is a custom plate, I'm going to take out car ID information. Why would I want to lead bad guys to the owner's place of residence.)

MrMerlin's car at the Holiday Inn parking lot. I spy someone's key on the passenger door lock.

Looks like a great time! Wish I could have made it... one of these years.

Did Stan earn the longest drive award?

We had attendees from VA, MD, PA, NY, CT, NC, OH, MA, MI, MN and Quebec. But yes, Stan, coming all the way from CO definitely gets kudos for the longest drive. With all the other stuff going on we didn't actually have an award to give out, but I put that down on the "to do" list for next year.

If you see your car and want me to add details, pm me and I'll edit in some captions. Sorry I'm not that great with names and owners of all these great cars.

Had a great time getting to know a couple of you much better. I'm sure Orlando will out-do me significantly on quality!

A couple of a 930 at the end there... We had a nice representation of a few other P-Cars and it was great to see how welcoming the 928 owner community is to all Porsche owners.

Great first Frenzy for me and my co-pilot Frank Barnhill. Thanks for hosting such a great event!
Looking at your pics, i don't think i can outdo them, but I'll put mine up shortly, it was definitely a great time. I definitely enjoyed putting faces to the names and seeing some of the most talked about cars for the first time. Pictures coming shortly. I look forward to next years!

Here is a picture I just took in the bank parking lot. I still wish I could have brought it.

I learned a valuable lesson about Virginia....which is they will give speeding tickets at 10 over. Me and Harvey got hit on the way home with an 80 in a 70. Hope to goodness there is a way to get it reduced. Can't handle 3 points on my record.
there are some lawyers for that. they can help it get reduced to zip some times. not that its ever happened to me (in long island going to hamptonbays last year, it was gonna be six points!)
