Default Sharks at the Glen - 10/7-8/2013 - PCA HPDE

Look at that avatar
<---

That is the most fun you can have with your pants on! So far, we have at least 5 Rennlister-sharks registered (andy-gts, 85euro928, hinchcliffe, Gary Knox (assuming he hasn't sold the car...) and myself) and 1 other non RL-shark.

If I'm reading the registration list correctly, there are still open slots. Curt Hinchcliffe can confirm this. Here's the Niagara Region's DE Website: http://niagarapca.org/pages/driver-education/

Register for the event through http://www.clubregistration.net

Even if you're not driving, though, you should come experience the scene. The whole thing is just a ton of fun, and the scenery, both man-made and natural, is outstanding.

Looking forward to this mini-gathering, and hopefully some other area Sharks will come out to cheer us on. Hope to see you there!

Motivation! For my last two events, I waited until the last minute to prep and it bit me in the ****. I've been prepping for the Glen since March.

Wink truth in advertising

Hmm.., I think you need to add a link to your post about lessons from the day, I mean, it's almost as-if the 'shock' (from the tech inspection) and 'awe' (or was it awwww, from the wallet evisceration) are all forgotten!

I was just assuming people saw those threads. And it was pretty obvious from those experiences and write ups that I'd be coming back for more.

Here's my "so you wanna track your 928" thread. https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...our-928-a.html (was on my phone earlier so couldn't add the link)

I should continue updating it with my ongoing project... right now I'm working on upgrading the car's interior safety. Installing a set of Corbeau's I had from an old project, and hopefully a Devek 1/2 cage when 1 of the 2 people with one for sale finally get around to actually selling it to me! Also adding harnesses, and picked up some sweet racing gloves and shoes (so I can look the part, too, lol). Actually, I would HIGHLY recommend gloves for the Glen in October, if only because you have to run with your windows down and it can be damn cold. PCA sponsor Apex Performance has everything you need. http://apexperformance.net/

I'm in! Registered and paid. I just came from there this past weekend and as usual it did not disappoint! The term "track crack" is the truth. You just can't get enough and you don't want to leave. It's like when you were a kid and it was time to leave the carnival and your parents drag you out of there kicking and screaming "NOOOOOO"!

Mike, your e-mail is giving my Outlook fits!

27 days...

And already considering signing up for VIR with NJ PCA in early November. Slippery slope?! What slippery slope?!

Courtshark,

You will LOVE VIR. I encourage you to sign up shortly after midnight on the day registration opens. This fills up pretty fast.

Plan to see you at the Glen, sans 928!

Hey Gary, there's actually still spaces available. Snag one! Very busy month for me so I'm on the fence. And I indeed love VIR. Drove it this past spring.
