I have found L jet to be quite reliable.....and pretty easy to fix-diagnose....even tune...

This is just a hold me over project while I wait on my Renegade oil pan for the SBC conversion. Ok, you can kick me out now lol.

Pretty much, but it's about all the original, heavy,underpowered, lump deserves. At least it's cheap like the rest of the car. I mean, there IS a good reason people practicaly give these cars away. Besides... That intake was fun to build!

Fuel injection will be put to much better use on the 400 horse Vortec 350 that's on the stand right now

Ha ! and I thought I was the only person with a Squarebore Holley flange in my induction system !

Welcome kindred brother...


My car still has the 4.5 litre Porsche engine, but I run it on LPG (propane) using an Impco 425 mixer which bolts up to a Holley squarebore throttle plate, which in this picture< is mounted upside down under the Porsche plenum.
