This sort of crap is exactly why some people no longer contribute as much as some of us wish they would. I can name off 4 people who can build these engines to high HP and hardly say a peep. I'm just waiting for Greg Brown to get fed up enough that he stops posting also, it's not like he doesn't catch a lot of **** from the arm chair QB's too. Then the circle will be complete and the idiots will be giving the advice.

From what I know of Todd, I take him to be the kind of person that's waiting and almost daring something in the drive line to break. The failure would give him his next project. I honestly don't think anything is going to break any time soon. Contrary to popular opinion, it is not horsepower that breaks the driveline, it's driving style. And I don't believe Todd has a crow bar or a sand box.

Y'know the first time you heard EVH play Eruption, or watched Beckham bend a penalty kick, or Rossi two wheel drift in slo-mo? The audio track of this dyno pull is like that. Takes it to a whole 'nuther level.....

Thanks for sharing your talent and hard work, Todd!

Does he have solid engine mounts in that thing? How does it even stay in there with 1100 CHP?

For those of you following along, what you see and hear about this car is just the tip of the iceberg.

What you see is certainly impressive for sure, but it is all the little things he did that adds even more awe to this project.

We will probably have a fall get-together and we can setup a tech session with Todd where everyone can ask questions on what he did to make it all work. You will be amazed at what you see, I promise.

In case anyone is wondering.... The massive 3/4" woofers in my media laptop don't quite do justice to the soundtrack. Had to put on headphones.

What's perhaps most impressive, besides the horsepower number, is how well intergrated all the pieces seem to be. It might be a little tough to pass a CARB or Cali "STAR" inspection without a nice plastic engine cover with "Porsche" embossed on each side. With the cover? I might get by.

There's a whole lot of thought, work and craftsmanship in this car. Great work Todd!

Tim,

I'd be nice if it could be webcast, so all of us folks in the outlands have a chance to see and hear what he says.
