Any particular reason this didn't work? Inquiring minds of other 86.5 owners who purchased a bracket want to know!

I got an answer on getting an empty PB2 shipped to the Safecraft agent here in Australia, from Steve Baker at Safecraft in the US, who was really helpful.

The Oz agent got back to me recently ... Expensive !!!!!!! $417.00 AU including tax plus shipping, for a PB2 (no bracket) filled with FE36, which is about $200+ more than a Halon filled PB2 (no bracket) in the US. I don't want to put a powder extinguisher in either of my cars, but the whole package is getting to around $650+ AU ..... dang!

Default update

Fit up went well and installation is easy. Move seat full forward & full up, 4 screws and a 1/4 drive ratchet. Done.

Will start shipping out tomorrow.

Nice that you don't have to pull the seat to install (in fact remarkable!).

That PB2 in crinkle black is very nice!

Can you reinstall the plastic trim piece (with the center portion trimmed back)...?

Yea, I was pleased about the ease of install too.

I didn't try to reinstall the cover as I knew it would require some modification.
If it's doable, that sure would look well-integrated.

Hi Andy,
Thanks for your interest! Yes, will be taking orders following fulfillment of this group buy.
At that time, I'll have them available for purchase thru my site http://928classics.com

I'll be reselling the Safecraft mount, so one could purchase both the seat bracket and quick-release mount thru 928 Classics!

^^^^^
I might have to do that... All 928's should have them (in fact all cars should keep one in them) but with my fleet it would be cost prohibitive to outfit all of them... Thinking the '95 and '93 since both are lightly to highly modified should probably have these in them...
