Just saw recently a 928 that was rear ended whilst stationary by another vehicle doing 70km/hr, no where near the extent of this damage. As a matter of fact the car is saw there was no damage to the sub-frame or engine and will be restored.

I guess this car was slammed hard and the front damage is from being shoved into/under something else...

Looks like - thankfully - driver walked away from this accident. A testament to the crumple zones on these cars.

I don't know about that. It's a lot worst shape then the one we bought and parted out... I don't think I would even try that with this one.

I agree it spun out and backed into a tree / telephone pole while still moving pretty fast and I doubt the driver "walked away" may have survived but the drivers seat collapsed back into the rear seat.

Given the damage to the front, I still think it was involved in a high speed chain reaction type wreck.
