He originally fitted a 16 valve engine then decided that more is better Told stories of surprised people in stop light "races" ....it is 4 wheel drive traction is no problem !!!

There is a CARB provision to stick a Subaru motor in those things, but alas.... No 928 love.

I think it rocks. Add says 86 928S but intake says S4. Wonder how the exposed engine likes rain?

I'm surprised that after all that work He didn't try to make some kind of bump out cover over the engine...

Love how the air pump sucks its air in... seems like it has a bunch of extra gauges in the console...

I seem to recall that the original owner/builder who was in the Chicago area may have passed away.....in which case the son inherited it. It was many years ago.. If this is the same bus and I have to think it is, there were many, many modifications and much $$$$ spent on the project. A true labor of love by someone who had a vision and made it happen.
