I need an attorney for a 928 problem in TN
As many of you might have seen the ugly thread Friday regarding an unhappy customer of mine, it now looks like I need an attorney. The customer is in Brentwod TN if that matters. If you can be of any help or have a suggestion please PM me.
Thanks for all the support I saw on that thread. It meant a lot to me. I was on my bicycle most of the day but read it all later that day.

Well, Mark, I have always been one happy customer from TN. I wish you the best of luck. Judging by their user ID, I assume that they drive a slate blue 928. I have seen the same slate blue 928 S on I-65 with Williamson Co. tags several times. I wonder if it's the same guy.

Sorry I cant help with the attny situation. Needless to say the guy was a total dumbass and was warned NUMEROUS times to tone it down. He deserves to be held responsible for making liable accusations on that thread and anywhere else he was posting. Fortunately, I doubt anyone on here will give his rantings a second thought... Good luck!

Mark, wish you the best. Sorry for the irresponsible person that hired the attorney. Those guys realy make the world a terrible place to live. If you need character witnesses just let us know we will gladly support you and your business.

Print the entire thread & save it. Save any & all corespondence from him. A copy from your attorney to his attorney might be enough to make this go away. This guy really unreasonable. Totally unnecessary.

Mark, ping the OT thread for some help, broader audience, or at least a different one.
Character witness, for sure, I have been a perfectly happy customer for a long time.

I wouldn't give a crap if his guy had an attorney contact me.
Odd that his attorney got a letter to you that fast! I guess they work by email these days?
Would be interesting to know what the attorney has asked for.
And no, I don't expect you to say.

I read a little bit of that thread and it seems illogical that the guy would resort to an attorney over a <$300 dispute. Sounds like he has a very bruised ego over the heat he took on this board. I doubt any attorney would take this sort of case on a contigency basis, and if he is paying for this from his own pocket, he is only hurting himself in the end.

My thoughts exactly.
Man, some people never figure out that you cannot make mortgage payments with ego cookies.
Mark, do a little digging on this guy........ you have all the information you need. Google and the internet is your friend.

Un frickin believable....... I read the thread.... usually these types of deals are because the person has a friend that is a bully type of attorney and they send out these letters all the time.... these bully attorneys don't really want to end up in court over one of their friends. I had something like this happen a few years ago, and I hired an attorney that had a reputation for nasty litigation and he sent a response and that was the end of it...
Good luck Mark... you deserve it.... this guy is a *****.

He probably has an attorney on retainer to fire these 'warning shots' all the time so that people like Mark who are honest business men will just pay up rather than fight it.
Edit: 928sg beat me to the punch...
He's clearly someone who is unstable and paranoid and I'm sure the only way for him to deal with his demons is to feel like he can control others through threats from his lawyer. When they pay to make him shut up he feels like he's "won" and his cause was justified, when really it's just honest businessmen trying to make the best of a bad situation so they cut their losses and move on.
Dude needs a reality check. I hate the system that has made this kind of thing possible. If we had a system that penalized frivolous lawsuits by making the loser pay, this kind of thing would disappear overnight.

Did the letter from his attorney have proper spelling and complete sentences?
