Default Would you trade your manholes for these wheels?

I have a set of S4 wheels on my '81 and I had a guy offer to trade me for a set of wheels from a panamera.

Pic:

They are 19"x9" (Back) and 19"x8" (Front)

I wouldn't. IMO those would not look right on a 928.

I'll take that deal. I have a couple of sets of the manhole wheels.

I would do it in a heartbeat. If you decide against it, let me know. I've got a set of manholes I'd love to trade for those wheels.

Doesn't fit the style of the 928. Too much wheel, not enough tire.

I'd also take that deal in a heartbeat. Then you better disappear because there's no way those 16" manholes are going to clear his brakes.

Depends what size Panamera wheels.

The 18" fit nicely. The 19" have good offsets IIRC, but may not allow for much sidewall, if you can find tires which fit 928.

From memory, 20" and above won't fit.

Never!! I agree with others that they don't look right on a 928. Being an old f**t I prefer bright metal wheels on any car but especially on a 928.

The Panamera's take-offs are so cheap. Here's a set of 4 19"'s with tires for $499 for sale near me in Atlanta.

Too plain and too big as well... i would never trade mine. I feel as the 928 gets older and older, it'll be important to keep your manhole covers with your car.

The wheels in that pic are HRE's... about $5k a set.

So... HELL YEAH, I would trade a set of S4 wheels for them!

Abso-freakin-lutely!

Does anyone else think this thread title is funnier than shyte? Just got home from a long week of travel. Decided a few minutes of Rlist would be a good way to wind down.

Not sure I would trade any of my "manholes" for anything, let alone a set of wheels. This is funnier when you re-read the posts after the OP.

Gotta go, tired and about to put something in my pie hole before going to bed.

I like the style, have plenty of spare "flat slots" (that better Dan?) so I would do the swap.
