I am driving the G28-13 5-speed at Bonneville. Two reasons: because 5th gear in the Porsche trans is straight-through the box with no loss in the layshaft and its 1:1; and because the top two gears in the 6 speed are both over-drives and I am not sure I can push them with my very tall (28.5") tires.

Funny. Actually YES, several times. Rained last week, too. But the forecast is excellent, and the reports from the track preparation crews are that the courses are ion the best condition they have seen in quite a while, and should be fast.
NOTE: we will not be in the Speed Week printed program. We are USFRA members making our first appearance in the SCTA, and the Program went to press before they got us transferered over. That's a shame. But we are in the event, and our times should be posted.
Look for car 9286 (928 was taken - but that car will not be running. Long story. Buy me a beer and I'll tell it to ya.)

I will be offering my customers the option to have their rear cross-member made without parking brake mounts (lighter for the racers) or with parking brake mounts (better for the street-driven cars).
Here are pics of each.

Some may think that's expensive but considering it took me 8 months and $5k to completely rebuild a pre-85 manual gearbox....this starts to sound pretty good...

6-speed update: I've been driving it around and I really really like this set-up. Nice transmission, with great synchros and gearing very well suited to the 928.
For those that are interested;
30 MPH in 1st is about 4000 rpm,
30 MPH in 2nd is about 2800,
40 MPH in 3rd is about 2800,
60 MPH in 4th is about 2800,
60 MPH in 5th is about 2250 rpm, and
60 MPH in 6th is about 1600 rpm.
I'm still putting some more hours and miles on it before I call it "good" but I haven't had anything appear yet that needs fixing.
Very glad I re-designed the parking brake mounts, it works normally now.

...and a few final pics of the interior after the 6-speed is installed. These pics are with an nice after-market short-shifter installed (the stock Corvette shift stalk is a bit tall for my liking).

The video is ready.... I was on public roads and could not reasonably go above 80 <PH, but I had a lot of legs left!
Turn up your speakers! The car is a 91 GT NA with headers and custom exhaust.

Here are a couple pics of what Corvette driveline pieces you need to ship to us to make your 6-speed conversion kit.
I am making 4 such kits right now for customers, and would like to discover how many others I should also be making at the same time.
Please let me know. And also let me know any questions you may have.

Looks like a stock car will have an issue pushing through that 6th.

I don't agree. Because I was on public roads, I capped the run in the video at about 70-75 MPH. That's why you do not hear me accelerate in 6th. It wasn't that I couldn't.
On another day (that I did not record) I took the 928 to 120 MPH and found it could still accelerate in 6th. This is in a NA 928, no supercharger.

I want to add that the acceleration of the 928 is quite brisk with this trans. As you would expect from the lowering of the gear ratios, the 928 jumps out of the hole and gets up on its legs much faster with this trans. I wouldn't say that acceleration is as brisk as that from a supercharged car, but for a NA car, I'd have to say the difference in acceleration is certainly noticeable and significant.
Also: these carbon-fiber synchros are amazing. Upshifts and downshifts without double-clutching, no gear drag, no grinding, just very, very smooth. Any gear, anytime. They did a heck of a nice job on this trans (of course, the T56 has been around for so many years it is well sorted-out.)
