Very nice work. You've got me dreaming of a 6-speed twin-turbo 928 now. If only California could be fixed to make it legal ..

There is no CARB EO # required for Carl's 6-speed conversion. Got for it!

I think Dinsdale is working on an Auto 6 speed to 928 engine kit that requires NO modification to the Corvette torque tube.

Very cool. the one thing i HATE about my 4spd auto is the speed at which it shifts. Agonizingly slow.

That is an excellent point! Transmission swaps are CA legal!

True, but the only reason I'd do it (to another 928) would be to support a lot more power, which isn't . I do like sunshine though.

If you essentially make your engine looks like its supposed to be there, how would CA smog know if you have cats and pass?

That may well be a place to retire, but doesn't have the jobs/pay for me. Less than 5 years until our youngest finishes High School ..

On topic, it's really nice seeing so much support for what are quite old cars. Four speeds aren't quite enough for 0-170mph, although it works fine for my commute.

Who needs sun. Set up an LLC in Montana and there is no inspections of any kind, no sales tax, and all can be done from your laptop. T

My parents and sister live in Montana now. Other than the new freeways, the roads suck, and it's only non-snowy like 3 months out of the year. I guess it gives you plenty of time for refurb projects...

No need to move to MT or have relatives there. Just set up an LLC and move on. T
