Default Phone Dials

I'm looking into the feasibility of adding phone dial wheels to my 86.5 928S with the larger S4 breaks. My main concern is will the wheels clear the larger brakes, and if so are any other mods necessary to fit them. Is anyone running the setup below or have suggestions on how to get this setup or another phone dial setup to work? I like the idea of having a wider wheel in the rear. Thanks all.

Don't think they will fit, but will try one of the 2 sets I have tomorrow on one of my '86.5's and let you know.

My 79 came with S4 brakes / suspension and phone dials. They are not S4 spindles, the original spindle was modified to hold the larger caliper. Offset should be the same since I'm using stock rotors.

I took them off immediately after purchasing the car, IIRC there was a very thin spacer to keep the back of the wheel from hitting the caliper:

hopwood on here has a 1980 Euro non-S car, which has had 1987 S4 suspension and brakes transplanted. they fit like a glove with the staggered 16" teledials...

Just tried a set on the car ('86.5) and the rears will fit but may have some issue with fender rubbing. Think it will depend on tires, mine are avon tech m 245/45. The front will not clear the caliper. These wheels are 944 turbo 8x16 and 7x16 with 52.3 et.
