These were at the top of google images list for "Maverick Porsche". Looks like the auction pic's, same train layout.

Is the whole auction Maverick's stuff? What happened to him?

As my ex-wife often said, "There is no limit to what you can do with bad taste".

Holy crap, Google is also coming up with images from this thread... No need to post anything, just use Google to find out what we might have said ...

This one looks almost exactly like the one my father used to have.

Looks like they are cleaning up all the stuff from this place, even the trash.

There are a few cars in there I'd not mind having though.

They gotta follow their own rules.

its not up to financial need or not.

That's why there are rules...you get to claim them.

Maverick tries a lot of "stuff", and some works better than others. Anybody know if its a "real" auction or not?

The lt blue was at SharkToberfest 2 years back.

Karl,

I got the email in my inbox today about this sale and immediately wondered who had finally caught up with Maverick!

That is close enough to the cab 928 I am looking for, but it is not the Hammertime car unless he changed the color and the front bumper cover (which is possible).

I'd LOVE to have that cab though, even in its current yuck color!

As others have wondered, I too am curious as to how much of this stuff is stolen! Also Lionel train set and a some other cool stuff...

I didn't see any results on the site, all those cars selling at the same time must have had some deals if it was a real auction.
