James I just left the auction and was talking to the guy who bought the train set and he was thinking of changing his mind. I gave him my number. Also the woman who bought the light blue cab said she will be selling it.

Did you get close enough to it to have a decent look Mark? Whats your take on the condition color/combo aside.

I assume you mean for the car? I did not look it over that closely but my first impression was pretty good. The doors closed solidly and the paint work looked nice. If you really want to see it fly over. I bet it will be there for a few days and I have the number for the girl that owns it.

Lots of pics of the cars on their FB page. Over 100 pics

Some wild interiors there.
The Euro S vert would have been cool for that price. A little bit more power than my incoming '79 vert.

Keep me posted if you hear anything Mark! Some of this stuff might be right up my alley!

Just saw the wide body vert is a 5spd car...I'm out.

So does this auction mean he finally got busted for the stuff he was alleged to have done? Or did his business just go belly-up?

I am actually looking at this car on ebay. What is the condition of it? I wish I was at the auction. Did it really go for $3,500?

What do you guys think? Should I go for it, or stay away?

1967 912 soft window targa
1975 914 converted roadster
1989 930 Cabriolet

I'm not sure what your budget is but I'd try to get the light blue 89. I was not impressed with the fit and finish of the white car.

Who has the blue car?

What didn't you like in fit and finish on the white one. The auction is ending in few hours, still deciding if I'm going for it or not

well I didn't like the " fit" or the " finish"

Sorry but I did ot spend much time with it. I was prepared to buy it for less than $2k so that's what I thought about it at the time.

I have the phone number of the woman who owns the blue car so contact me if you want to pursue
