DAYUM! THAT IS BAD ***! Still, for that $$ think I would go for a well cared for 1989 930 Turbo

Great car, but yea - it will take one serious 928 collector to buy it. Best of luck though to the seller and the car.

WOW,

Nice car! I love the color combos, simple and classic.

Very nice car. Hope he sells it for that price. My '93 GTS will be going up for sale soon, and it's in just as nice, if not nicer condition for about $10,000 less.

Rob,

You are right of course, but knowing that this is a Greg Brown looked-after car raises the value of this car. I think this is the first Ebay ad that I have seen that even mentions the flex plate / clamp / TBF topic.

Absolutely, I think that increasingly the kind of guy who's willing to pop for a top-tier, no-stories 928 is going to demand not just the maintenance history but the quality of the maintenance history. It's one thing to have a documented TB job, it's another to know that the TB job was done properly and thoroughly (which rules out me ever selling one of my cars for top dollar....

Are you sure "Gary Brown" isn't a cheap copy from another country? Gary probably contains mercury and lead paint too

Not smart asking $65k for a mid mileage GTS with non-functioning AC. Seems counter to all the language about how well this car has been cared for. Fix the AC first.

65 k for 340 bhp? hmmm... or..... you could buy a regular 93 928 and put a 500 hp checvy v8 in it, 3500 racing brakes, 5000 race suspension and buy a small house with what is left over... just saying.
