I like without personally....mine did not have them, although my replacement drivers door did, so I need to get the holes filled....

No right or wrong choices. Really just depends on how you look at the car. For me, it was introduced as such when I saw the 928S the first time. At that time, other makes had body mouldings but none as cool as the 928S' which I think give the car very strong characters.

For looks, delete them.
However if you intend to actually drive and park you car, definately leave them on.

They really do their job very well.

Deleted on my car, and I prefer the look deleted, but if I had it to do over, I probably wouldn't. They were deleted by a previous owner, and even after a respray, the filled holes were coming back, so I had to re-fiberglass them in when I resprayed it after. The strips are already so sleek I don't know that'd it'd be worth paying someone to weld them all up just slightly improve the looks of an already awesome car.

The look is drastically different.

This low mile 86.5 I am working on has them, but fortunately they are stuck on and there are no holes.

I'm also on the fence for a DD.
I like the delete look but they have saved dings in the past on my 88.
