I just love the lines on the 928... the rub stripe breaks them up....

I just washed mine and found 2 door hits with missing paint. Right where the strips would be. ughhh

I never thought there looked good ! clearly an after thought! but like I care about door dings well actually I do and can not figure out how I got a couple since the car rarely goes anywhere....

You can choose to have missing paint on your rub strip or missing paint on the smooth flowing lines of a stripless 928. I'll take the latter.

That was a good looking 85 Ed... loved that color (Marmor Grau- Marble Gray)..but it was "white" .. too bad it had a burgandy interior LOL....but man was that a clean 928...

Thanks Tom. I miss it, even though it was a Rogerbox. It was also extremely reliable - only had one mysterious no-start issue that I never did figure out the cause of.

And that's funny about the burgundy interior, seems to be roundly disliked, but I actually liked it.
