welding can take loads of practice to get something right, and on top of that, some designs are bad right from day 1.

Dont be disheartened, just give it another try!

Looks good. If you try again, use as large a block of aluminum as you can fit,on the opposite side of the weld area to pull the heat and it will minimize the distortion. Also it will keep any burn through tightly packed in the corners and prevent blow out.

ya, a few spots i had blow out. if i do it again in metal it will be mild steel. due to the strange shapes, it was very hard to get any alum in there (tried). I might end up selling my welder soon too, kinda sucks, but i have a few projects i need some cash for. being the at home dad, my hobbies can be hard to fund... :-P

Let me know how the intake turns out... Any news on the dyno? Today I'm putting in Porken's newest, latest & greatest v4.0 performance chips with SPORT MODE... Gonna have a blast on the way to Frenzy!!! Hope my rear tires hold out!!!

Stock up on spare coils cause they don't last. I've seem them fail as often as every 5 months.

i have heard both sides of that. dont use them they suck, and never had a problem.

if i do have any issues ill just go to stock GM truck coils.

I have one already made that looks just lilke that withnice finish to it with a k and n filter fit to the front of it .....it goes with the raptor sc outfit of 928 motorsports....worked great with the sc. If you want it just call me
