Robs kit was installed at the OCIC show in Wichita this year. His car is currently running the base map that's included with the kit. After install the car fired right up and we took her for a spin. Rob has a huge 2 into 1 system, that sounds frickin sweet!! All I did was pull out a little fuel in the idle and cruise area of the map, everything else was good to go.

The car did run pretty good from the get go. The only problem is that the 968 and 944's just sit there neglected now.

I got the PERFECT set for you......my old 225/50-16 crap all season tires mounted to flatdish wheels.....they are at Thunderhill...... throw those on the back & do a "drift" day...... I can probably scrounge up some more old 16" for you to destroy....

The 928 axles, with limited slip, don't do well during burnouts. They like to bind up and do the bunny hop, every now and then. The TT and the axles are very good torsion bar springs.

Not lookin to burn out..just the rear will be more fun to point & shift with.

Its great fun in the rain.
Very easy to induce throttle/shifting oversteer with an automatic 928.

Very scary, at times.

The wife unit calls it "point and ****".

But it was something that even she got good at in autox way long ago.

Had a long talk with the new Dyno guy today. They make High power 4cyl ecotec engines. He was telling me about how this guy that spent $28k getting his engine all done up and tuned at there shop. Then a short time later it has a melt down. So they had the car shipped back to here in Grand rapids where they rebuilt it all back up, and found that the car knocked and ran like **** when the started it up. They had to drop the timing 10 deg to get the car to stop knocking.
Story is... guy lives in the LA area, and drives his car here to Michigan to get all souped up. Well on the way here he goes through a few tanks of gas and flushes out the crap Cali gas. Now he has Michigan 93 in it when they build up the engine and dyno tune it, see. And when he get back to LA and fills up the knocks like crazy and melts down. So it's trailered back instead of driven and still has the crap Cali gas in it. And thats when they figured out how bad the gas is in some states compared to here.
