Like most people in this forum James you assume too many things. I don't dart and slice through traffic but then again all you need to do is assume and you are right in your own mind. There seems to be a lot of that going on in this thread. I assume that anyone who thinks a supercharger is only for looks is not very astute. LOL Now in all fairness James, my first post to you I was overly considerate untill you start accusing me of doing things that you know nothing about.
JB is a good guy....and he makes good points.

I was not the one who assumed someone did something wreckless in traffic and stated it as fact. If I step on it I don't do it in traffic. There are plenty of safe puplic roads to have a little fun on. Opinions fine, mis-accusations is not my idea of friendly beer talk. And I go to some pretty rough bars. lol

I would contend that a stock S-4 being driven correctly is more than capable of keeping up with traffic. Hold the pedal down for 14 seconds and you are going 100MPH plus. It will top out at about 170.
The blower gives you major torque at low RPM so yes you need only step on the gas to move around traffic. Does make me wonder what other drivers around you might be thinking as the red Porsche slices and dices through the traffic... but then again down shifting a stock S-4 a couple gears and blasting by at 6,000 RPM is not exactly subtle either
Real question is do you TELL people you have a blower ? and How often do you open up the hood ? Because if it is for your driving enjoyment alone, no need to talk about it. And Yes I have driven many high powered cars, even a GT2RS with 600 plus hp, fun !!
Even a stock S-4 if you drive it very much at it's maximum on the street you will either be arrested or dead.
I have always thought blowers were neat since I saw a nearly new 1957 Studebaker Hawk with a factory Paxton supercharger

As AO said, Everyone who has come out with a great SC kit has gone though this. I think a lot of the reason is that everyone wants to either stick up for their guy or they just hate superchargers in general. Maybe a little purist 911 effect?. The good kits will stand out as I believe this one will. I would love to start talking again about a nice new product for our cars. Most good people have already got disgusted with the lack of human desency and left the room though.
