Default brake pipe connector question?

I've just replaced all my brake lines. Although i have copied all the pipe runs and there are no joins. Is it a real no-no to use straight connectors on brake lines or is it a recognised thing to do? Just asking for my own interest?

If you use the same double-flared connections, no worries.

Look at how the rear axle line splits to feed the two wheels - a T joint of some sort somewhere. No different from a joiner IMHO.
