George: The LM-1 log looks great! I'm real happy with the mid-12's.

Here is a short video of the start, through the first two turns:

http://youtu.be/NBT_dKMicls

It looks best in HD (if you have a fast connection).

Let me know if it looks ok and the layout works, and if you're interested in seeing any more. I know it get boring just watching the desert scenery go by, especially when there's a lot of glare.

Don't mind being shot down in flames if this is a stupid idea
but would there be any possibility of precooling the fuel in the
tank or adding additional cooling around the fuel lines using
dry ice (solid CO2).

Hi George
It looks great except I would like the GPS readout larger as I can't quite see your speeds on it....

Thanks for the input John, I'll increase the size of the GPS overlay, and/or upload the 1080 version.

Also the final results have been posted. I was going 196.3 mph through the radar trap.

John,

I updated the video with a larger GPS overlay and uploaded a 1080 version:

I'm working on the video of the run through the Radar Trap.

Here is the video of the run through the Radar Trap. I added the LM-1/LMA-3 log display. The speed is calculated from the RPM,
and is different from the GPS display which is calculated by time over distance just traveled.

Again used the larger GPS overlay and uploaded in 1080.

George,

Never had problems with fuel although we minimized any 90 turns or "forged" fittings. Remember, not all fitting are the same.

We only were running 520 rwhp or so, so you might have found a new bottleneck...no pun intended.

Be safe, and be fast!

Best,
Marc

Found a couple of videos on YouTube of my car from the 2012 SSCC.

Exiting the Narrows

Passing Gate 48

Like the sound of the car as it drives away.

George, what's that sound at 2:20? I had the volume up and just about fell out of my chair.

Warning grooves in the pavement. For sleepy drivers.
