Awesome time
Man what a weekend. I look forward to this weekend every year. I already am ready to go back.
Malcolm, great meeting you. Laura and I really want to make a trip up to the Great White North, when it's not so white lol.
Car ran fantastic all weekend with the exception of having to re-secure my low hanging fruit right after lunch. Some bailing wire and zip ties and I was good to go.
Herman needs to get the "MOST PREPARED TO TRAVEL" award. He is prepared for almost anything.
Big big thanks to Hans for being my navigator. Would have not been possible to make all of those turns without him. They just come up way to fast when your by yourself.
I have hundreds of pictures. Here are a few.

I got in around 11:30pm last night. Had a great time as always! Good to see all the usual faces and some new ones too. Thanks to Roger, Zane, Laura, Mike, Chuck, Jim, and everyone else involved in putting this event together. You all do a great job and it's a top notch event.
Big congrats to Kenny on winning the People's Choice Award. His car is exceptional, especially the Guards Red paint that just "pops" in the sunlight! Attached is a pic of his car, but it really doesn't do it justice - you need to see it in the full sun to really appreciate it. Also, I'd like to thank everyone who voted for my car in the 87-91 S4/GT class - attached is my favorite shot of it from the event.
Here's video I shot of the car group at the Texas Hill Country Olive Company winery stop. It contains most, but not quite all, of the cars at the event.

I was behind you on the last stretch back to the hotel on 281 and was pretty impressed with the speed you were able to get out of Roger's OB.
Good to meet you and you make it down again next year.

Three Wheelin'
Well Ann and I made it back home late Monday afternoon safe and sound. All in all, another great Third Coast event. Superb job Roger, Zane, Laura, Mike, Chuck and et al. There are so many people to thank for all the help, advice, parts and sticking with me until the end. Yes no shark left behind.
Jim, for the great terry cloth towel, better than the ones I use at home. Testing the in-tank pump without needing the fire extinguisher. Also I think the fuel filter?
John, for the jack, hope it finds it's way back to you.
Sean, for just jumping in and moving ten times the speed I'm capable of.
Hans, for the insight, wisdom, diagnostic skills and 928 life lessons. Yes it looks like you were right all along.
Simon and Lonnie, thanks for being there.
Herman, for the metallurgy, blacksmith skills and the idea of doubled up used copper washers are better than just one. Hey, it worked. And of course the spare parts.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Barb, you are one lucky woman, but you knew that. Thanks for staying to the very end.
Mike and Laura, one more thanks for the toxic waste disposal.
Ann, my loving wife, I promise I'll take you to Ikea, really I mean it.
I'm sure I've forgotten to mention a few people, but I was under the influence of petrol and just enjoyed the whole thing.

Big thanks to the TX crew for putting this together. For those who haven't been yet, this needs to be on your 928 calendar, it is easily one of the most fun and passionate 928 events. Already looking forward to next year.
Thanks Mike for hailing me around on the drive, and letting me experience the RMT firsthand, I was very impressed. Also, thanks to Steve Hoyt for the ride down to Austin, and Dinsdale for the test spin of the 6-speed.
Finally thanks to Roger for hosting/sponsoring the event, and to Zane for the warm hospitality as always. And as we all know, Laura for making the event happen.
It was great to see everyone, and hope to get down there again before next fall.
