Default Front lower balljoints

Im looking into changing the lower balljoints on the front suspension of my 928's.

I see there are different parnumbers in PET for the early vs the newer suspension. Are the balljoints interchangeable despite this, or do I need to buy the early ones for my 84, and the later ones for my S4 and GT?

Seen them. Are those for the Early cars? He lists them as being for all, hence my question.

Just curious 993turbo, why the switch to 928's. You had some nice 911's. I am NOT trying to get into a debate by the way. I also do like the 911's just as well.

There's early Alum. until TSB 84-01 (1984), then early steel to 1986.5, and finally later steel.

If you need p/n's I could x-ref tonite.

You shouldn't be buying the early aluminum ones, right? If we're talking about the same thing, I changed the balljoints on my 82 from the aluminum carriers to the steel carrier ones. The bracket is reusable (althought it shows more of the threads), but you'll need two new eccentrics (one for each side).

A search for "aluminum ball joints" will be revelation if you haven't heard of the issue before.
